In his early career as an actor, Scott Michael Foster landed minor roles in the film The Horrible Flowers (2005) and in an episode of The Game (2007), Women's Murder Club (2007).
Finally, in 2007 he landed the main role of Captain John Paul "Cappie" Jones in the comedy-drama TV series Greek. He portrayed the character for a total of 74 episodes from 2007 to 2011.
